Canon launches 2 exciting DSLR's in 6D Mk ii & EOS SL2(200d)

Let's start with the EOS SL2/(200d) as canon seems to be having a weird naming for 200d as SL2 in the US and the rest of the world gets it as 200d. I bought my 1300d last year which sounds obsolete when you compare it to SL2 which makes it a good upgrade.

EOS 200D is the newest addition to Canon EOS DSLR range. This is an entry-level DSLR comes with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and latest DIGIC 7 image processor.

The camera body is designed to provide an enhanced grip and is overlaid with a grain finish.
Canon EOS 200D is equipped with a touch screen LCD monitor that is also a fully articulated screen which allows users to experiment with image compositions from different angles. The combination of Vari-angle LCD monitor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF further enables the EOS 200D to deliver movies in full HD quality at 60p.

With Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, users can transfer images and videos from EOS 200D to smartphones other device which supports wi-fi/NFC. It comes with a dedicated Wi-Fi button.

The Canon EOS Rebel SL2 camera supports Full HD quality movies at 60p and can produce incredibly smooth moving images for playback, or for sharing videos on social media. Vloggers will appreciate the ease with which it can record quality audio that’s immediately ready for uploading. For even more sophisticated sound recording, the EOS Rebel SL2 has an external microphone input to complement its internal microphone.

Now let's get to 6D Mk ii

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II features a 26.2 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor (approx. 35.9mm x 24.0mm) designed to create high-resolution and detailed images. Capable of sensitivities ranging from ISO 100 to ISO 40000 (expandable to L: 50 and H2: 102400).

The 6D Mark II also uses Canon’s ultra-fast Dual Pixel autofocusing system, and the camera now has 45 cross-type autofocus points at its disposal, a step up from the 6D’s paltry 11. It shoots at relatively fast pace of 6.5 frames per second, but there’s a short runway there: the maximum burst is 21 frames for RAW photos, and 150 for JPEGs.

Articulated touchscreen LCD: This is Canon's first full-frame camera that doesn't have a fixed LCD, which is a very useful feature for the 6DMII.

Improved continuous-shooting speed: Up to 6.5fps from 4.5fps, presumably with better autofocus. Autofocus responsiveness and tracking speed should also improve thanks to the new sensor/AF.

6D Mark II is also weather resistant, on par with the sealing found on the more expensive 5D Mark IV, according to Canon. 6D Mk II comes with Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and GPS radios.
